What a weekend! We loved dancing, praying and talking with women at our 2015 Influence Conference in Indy. It was inspiring to follow the #influenceconf hashtag and see how different messages and speakers impacted attendees. If you weren’t able to join us, hop on over to purchase the video recordings of the conference. You’ll be able to watch recordings of all the speakers when we make the professional video available in a few short weeks!
One of the most commented and favorite events from the weekend were the various revivals that were led by experts in their respective interests and fields. We witnessed women coming together to encourage each other and to speak life to each other in their areas of passion and their projects. Many women shared dreams, insecurities, and prayers about the revivals God has revealed to them. Our friend and Influence Network member, Sarah Martin, hosted the writing revival sponsored by Tyndale House. You might remember Sarah from our previous Influence book club when we studied her book, Just Rise Up. Sarah is passionate about women believing in the God-given story they have and sharing it through the written word.
We were excited when Tyndale House offered to sponsor the writing revival because we know they’re supportive of our mission as a Network and they also celebrate the God-given gifts women have. Before the revival began, the writing revival attendees heard from Tyndale House about their fantastic new rewards program called Tyndale Rewards. Tyndale Rewards is designed to provide you with opportunities to receive books and Bibles for free. You’ll also receive a free gift on your birthday, have access to promotional materials, and countless favorite book titles and resources. All you have to do is sign up, share your referral code, and then each friend that signs up receives 25 points for themselves and adds 10 points to your total. Isn’t it awesome that you’re able to save by sharing with your friends?
At the writing revival, Tyndale House provided all of the attendees with free books to read and review. And on October 1, we’ll host a link up right here on our blog where writing revival attendees can link up their blog posts with their own Tyndale book reviews. Our hope through this link-up is to support and spur you on to write, read, and share information that encourages you. Be sure to use your Tyndale Rewards link so you can earn more points!
Here at the Influence Network, we get really excited about celebrating the achievements of our friends who are writing books and seeing them get published. If you’re a member, you already know we encourage and challenge each other all day long in our classes and in the forums (if you’re not a member yet, why not?! We’d love to have you!). What’s unique about this particular link up is that it’s such a tangible way to connect and learn alongside other readers and writers. It’s also a great way to get more involved in the publishing world. If you didn’t attend the writing revival but still want to participate in the book review link up, we welcome and encourage that! The more the merrier, and we can’t wait to read some of your book reviews!
Enjoy reading and check the blog on Oct. 1st to link up!
