The road that brought Lindsay to lettering feels paradoxically windy and straight at the same time. At any rate, this little shop has been decades in the making. She dreamt up first stationery line when she was five and took a calligraphy class when she was 10, went to school to become a graphic designer, graphic designed, started creating custom wedding invitations, started addressing said invitations, and fell madly in love with lettering (and Dugan). After years of focusing on custom work and event stationery, Lindsay decided to step out in faith and create a shop in 2012. She places a high value in surrounding herself with beautiful and inspiring things, and felt that she wanted to use the gifts God’s blessed her with in order to make meaningful art that people can put in their own spaces and be inspired by. She is so blessed to be able to do what she loves every day.
Lindsay loves authenticity, creating, iced coffee, playing with her beautiful daughter Eva Love, trying out new vegan recipes, exploring fun spots in Nashville with her traveling-pastor husband and lettering – mostly with a Sharpie in hand, music on, candle going, and more iced coffee. (Check out her blog and Instagram for the latest!)
Lindsay’s Lettering can also be seen on the pages of or products in Hobby Lobby, Bread & Wine, Studio Calico, MOMCon, The Nesting Place, Snapfish, Victoria’s Secret Style Guide, Southern Weddings Magazine, Lulu & Georgia, Emily Ley and Mary & Martha.
